Tablets of Biblical Proportions

Yay! I'm getting a Tablet! Our friend Mike is using me as an excuse to get a new one. Since he is a graphic designer I asked him to help me pick one out for cheap. While looking at them for me he started to want a new one. He is a professional he needs a nice expensive one. So he decided I was the perfect excuse to get himself a new one. Since he's getting said new tablet he is giving me his old professional grade one. It still runs for around three hundred dollars. I'm paying 50 for it. I'm so lucky that way beats the seventy five dollar causal artist ones I was looking at. For those of you who don't know a tablet is a digital drawing board. You draw on it and it shows up on your computer. Its best used with expensive programs like Painter 11, PhotoshopCS 4 and more. I have recently come across said programs and he has copies of other cool programs like Manga Studio EX 4. I'm not a huge manga fan but it will help me with my drawing of people.

Broken Love

My favorite poem ever! I read it for the first time when I was 15. I just now remembered it.

Broken Love

MY Spectre around me night and day
Like a wild beast guards my way;
My Emanation far within
Weeps incessantly for my sin.

‘A fathomless and boundless deep,
There we wander, there we weep;
On the hungry craving wind
My Spectre follows thee behind.

‘He scents thy footsteps in the snow
Wheresoever thou dost go,
Thro’ the wintry hail and rain.
When wilt thou return again?

’Dost thou not in pride and scorn
Fill with tempests all my morn,
And with jealousies and fears
Fill my pleasant nights with tears?

‘Seven of my sweet loves thy knife
Has bereavèd of their life.
Their marble tombs I built with tears,
And with cold and shuddering fears.

‘Seven more loves weep night and day
Round the tombs where my loves lay,
And seven more loves attend each night
Around my couch with torches bright.

‘And seven more loves in my bed
Crown with wine my mournful head,
Pitying and forgiving all
Thy transgressions great and small.

‘When wilt thou return and view
My loves, and them to life renew?
When wilt thou return and live?
When wilt thou pity as I forgive?’

‘O’er my sins thou sit and moan:
Hast thou no sins of thy own?
O’er my sins thou sit and weep,
And lull thy own sins fast asleep.

‘What transgressions I commit
Are for thy transgressions fit.
They thy harlots, thou their slave;
And my bed becomes their grave.

‘Never, never, I return:
Still for victory I burn.
Living, thee alone I’ll have;
And when dead I’ll be thy grave.

‘Thro’ the Heaven and Earth and Hell
Thou shalt never, quell:
I will fly and thou pursue:
Night and morn the flight renew.’

‘Poor, pale, pitiable form
That I follow in a storm;
Iron tears and groans of lead
Bind around my aching head.

‘Till I turn from Female love
And root up the Infernal Grove,
I shall never worthy be
To step into Eternity.

‘And, to end thy cruel mocks,
Annihilate thee on the rocks,
And another form create
To be subservient to my fate.

‘Let us agree to give up love,
And root up the Infernal Grove;
Then shall we return and see
The worlds of happy Eternity.

‘And throughout all Eternity
I forgive you, you forgive me.
As our dear Redeemer said:
“This the Wine, and this the Bread.”’

William Blake

My favorite passages

‘O’er my sins thou sit and moan:
Hast thou no sins of thy own?
O’er my sins thou sit and weep,
And lull thy own sins fast asleep.

‘What transgressions I commit
Are for thy transgressions fit.
They thy harlots, thou their slave;
And my bed becomes their grave.

Something Fairly Efficient I Think

I love my Kindle. Its not only can be the biggest library ever it has text to speech. So I can listen to certain books when I don't want to read or am doing something else. Like now for instance I'm multitasking. I'm listening to a time efficiency book while typing this blog. Keeping two new years resolutions at once.
I'm reading or rather listening to Eat That Frog. Its a very good book. I like self help books not because I need to drastically change my life or haven't heard most of these things already but because they offer new tips, tricks and generally remind me of things I know to help.
I have morning pages to write now. My morning pages are a mind dump that helps the subconscious mind go through everything they are thinking. It makes you choose whats important to you in your creative life and come up with ideas you may have not thought of. I thought it was crap at first but spending a full fifteen minuets on it you start to reach for things to write about and you come up with some pretty interesting things to fill the pages. You have to write for a fairly long period of time so you get everything out and you can move on to things that you grasp for from the subconscious mind. You need to write it longhand on paper. But alas I don't have a notebook now and I need to keep the pages in the same place so I have another private blog right now until I can afford to get a 'nice' notebook.

Pandora's Box and Other Crazy People

Listening to Pandora Radio. If you haven't heard of it look it up. Its a radio where you pick a song or band. Then they match the style of the artist or the tone of the song and play artists and songs like it. Pretty damn sweet.
As for the other crazy people I'm giving a big vote of crazy to the designers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for the wii. Rented it last night it made me soo dizzy! It was hard to control and had annoying timers. All I wanted to do was play my first person shooter and actually shoot stuff! Left 4 Dead 2 However seems to be a good outlet for shooting stuff (On the computer of course). Zombies! Just an old fashioned FPS (First person shooter) with a few fun complications. Besides there is a co op where we play missions with our friends and a V.S. mode we play if we have more than 6 friends who want to play. Very fun.
There is my rant on FPS.

Sleepless in Colorado

Can't sleep. A little depressed because of my lack of imagination at this point. My keyboard needs a cleaning. Headache. Need to clean my house. Random thoughts.

Late Night Broadcasting

Late night. Writing. Eric locked Anastasia out of the room and when we let her back in she ran straight for me. Awh. Damn it I was going to write a blog about world peace and my discovery to enable it to become a reality... but I got really tired just now so...

Vanity and Other Deadly Sins

I got a new vanity today. Yay! It makes organization much easier and looks pretty in my room. We made it from an idea of Martha Stewart's.
Ive been writing a lot lately which is good. I'm trying to add more depth to the book. Still need to clean make up brushes and such.
I had a long night last night everything from frightening stairs to hanging out with Siena and then my sister. I wish I had something more interesting to say. You know something that makes you laugh and think I am extremely funny. No such luck.
So I will leave you with a word of wisdom.
BUBBLES!
